There are far subtler ways of showing off your style and sophistication
than by
drinking your single malts from a mug like this. A sterling silver quaich for example.
And that's just one one of the many stylish gift items that SilverGroves
has to offer.
Especially the items from their 'silver bar gifts' and 'silver celtic gifts' categories will
make the hearts of many whisky lovers beat just a little faster...
Granted, technically speaking these are all
'gift' items. That means that they should
only be acquired in order to bring pleasure to other people, not yourself. However,
a reliable source has informed me that they don't actually check the identities of the
recipients of the gifts. So, you could surprise yourself without anyone else knowing.
In exchange for me bringing some of their offerings under the attention of the
esteemed readership of Malt Madness, the
friendly people of SilverGroves have
kindly donated some of their silver to the good cause - i.e. this website. (*)
Silvergroves.co.uk has a beautiful range of whisky related products and accessories.

* = By sponsoring Malt Madness, SilverGroves helps spreading good whisky advice (well, I'd like to think it's good advice) around the world.
If you've read chapter 8 of the Beginner's Guide you'll know that part of that good advice involves glassware. I love SilverGroves' beautiful decanters, but for my actual dramming I wouldn't use those tumblers. They look great, but the shape of those glasses masks the 'nose' of the whisky. I've already suggested to them they might look into producing silver versions of a 'Glencairn' type glass - if the silver doesn't impair the nosing, that would be perfect for travel...
